The founder of the famous jewelry dynasty, Gustav Fabergé, was born in Pärnu, Estonia. In 1842, he opened the House of Fabergé jewelry firm, which was later inherited by his son, Peter Carl Fabergé, famous maker of Fabergé eggs. Under the guidance of his father and other masters of the House of Faberge, Peter Carl Fabergé studied jewelry.
